After leaving the Ambulance Service Roger retrained to become a Chartered Physiotherapist. He was a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (now no longer a Member since 01.01.21) as wanted to concentrate on one profession. Roger has worked in professional football since 2003, including spells at Brentford FC Academy, Weymouth FC, Maidenhead United, AFC Bournemouth (Centre of Excellence), and the England under 17’s Rugby Union development squad. Roger completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Bath and in 2014 gained a Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine. As you can see, his specialism is Sports and their related injuries, which again provides a variety of First Aid experiences on the field of play.

On The Mend First Aid Training has developed a course called Emergency Care in Sport designed for Therapists who work pitch side with sports teams.

Julie Tullett -

Community Pharmacist, First Aid Trainer and Assessor

Julie has been a qualified pharmacist (Julie Tullett MPharm Hons) for over 20 years and, as such, has had a great deal of contact with First Aid situations in a community and workplace environment. She has recently joined forces with her husband to now become an instructor herself, as their business expands.

As a healthcare professional, she has a great deal of underpinning knowledge and expertise to impart to learners making the courses that On the Mend First Aid Training provide interesting and up to date. Julie being a pharmacist is ideally skilled in teaching anaphylaxis and auto-injector courses, useful and worthwhile courses for parents, teachers, nursery school staff, childminders, GP and dental surgery staff and pharmacies involved in flu vaccination programmes.
